Adventures to have and places to see

Pullman Resort

Pullman is located in Cayo Coco and is very close to the Jardines del Rey airport which makes for a short bus ride to the hotel. The resort has an adult-only section called The Collection which is on the west side of the property. The Collection is similar in some ways to what Diamond Club is called at other places.

Cayo Coco has beautiful beaches, and the one in front of the resort was great. It is cleaned daily and the sand was soft and white. We went during COVID 19, so the resort was at reduced capacity and sunchairs were in abundance.

Meals

The meals were excellent at the resort. Be sure to book all the a la Cartes that you can! If you booked the collection option (highly recommended), on the evenings that are not a la Carte, you can dine at the Collection restaurant El Gourmet which was also excellent. Wine at the resort is plentiful. The buffet and 24-hour grill is also an option. We had breakfast at the buffet a couple of times. It was good, but as usual with a buffet, it was busy and noisy. For this resort, the Collection option is the way to go if you want an adult-only experience.

The buffet (Las Coloradas) was good. We had breakfast there a couple of times. The painted glass designs were very interesting.

The Japanese Cobo a la Carte was awesome. The two cooks put on a great show and the food was plentiful and delicious.

The Cuban a la Carte was also excellent. That night there was a Cuban show, and the entertainers came in to give us a taste of what was yet to come.

Room

Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and there was lots of water. They give you quite a nice set of amenities in Collection (toothbrush, razor, shampoo, shower gel, and more). Bathrobes we provided that were comfortable. There was a hair drier and ironing board. Closet space was ample to hang up your stuff. The LCD TV seemed nice but we never turned that on during our vacation.

The fridge was stocked daily with 2 Cerveza, pop and a big bottle of water. There was a Kuerig-like coffee maker in the room but we didn’t try it out. There is an electronic safe in the room. Access to the room is with a magnetic swipe card.

The room was cleaned daily. Our cleaner left a nice assortment of towel art during our stay. We always left a tip on the pillow for her.

We were on the third floor and the view from the balcony was beautiful.
